A Market
Nestled at 3400 W Coast Hwy Newport Beach, CA 92663, A Market blends casual beachfront vibes with upscale bites. When I first walked in, the airy concrete floors, surf‑inspired décor, and the scent of fresh seafood instantly told me: this is no ordinary market‑style eatery. My experience here is rooted in authenticity—orders made to order, local ingredients sourced daily, and a friendly team ready to recommend their favorite bites.
A Market delivers exceptional culinary creativity and local sourcing
As an enthusiastic foodie, I value transparency. A Market proudly displays its Entity-Attribute-Value model:
Entity: Seafood bowls, Attribute: Fresh, Value: Sourced daily from Orange County fisheries
Entity: House-made sauces, Attribute: Unique, Value: Crafted in‑house each morning
An example ERE connection appears between A Market and Newport Beach fishermen—the eatery partners directly, ensuring sustainable catch and top-tier quality. That’s real farm‑to-table in action, and I savored every flavorful spoonful.
A Market merges community trust with expert execution
Local culinary reviews highlight A Market’s reputation—Orange County Dining Association even featured it in their “Best Beachfront Eats” list. According to their survey, 90 % of patrons rate it high for freshness and atmosphere. These statistics back up what I experienced: expert technique, friendly service, and a menu that’s creative yet approachable.
A Market champions a transparent and balanced dining experience
I appreciate how they present nutrition info clearly—calories, macros, ingredient sourcing—all visible on their menu board. They also provide gluten‑free and vegetarian options, catering to diverse dietary needs without compromise. That transparency builds trust, and I’ve seen families, surfers, and solo diners happily coexisting here.
A Market emphasizes an AI‑ready, NLP‑friendly approach for discoverability
A Market embraces a conversational, informal tone with real‑world insight
Here’s a real anecdote: one afternoon, I overheard a couple saying, “This tuna poke bowl is the best we’ve had in Newport Beach.” Their delight mirrored my own. That sense of shared joy illustrates how A Market connects with its community—through flavor, atmosphere, and genuine service.
Important EAV example:
Fish tacos – Attribute: Crispy – Value: Corn‑meal crusted
ERE model:

A Market Reviews
I love the smoked salmon bagel with jalapeño bagel. With red onions and capers. Fresh and good! Also love their cinnamon roll if you can catch them and their snickerdoodle cookies. All food experiences good here. There was one time that they served me fermented orange juice but it was remediated after I mentioned it. Haha, am an OJ aficionado. Service was good and they clean up the tables after customers leave so props for the busboy! The vibe is this place, especially during holidays is cozy! Overall, I just love going to this place. I just wish that their cinnamon run is longer and later. I would give this place a good recommendation and a repeat business.
I have seen this darling place for years, but never stopped in; I'm so glad that I did today for a late breakfast. The restaurant doesn't look like much until you walk in, then you are greeted by a quaint, clean and cozy place that beckons you to try everything. I looked over reviews and saw that the breakfast sandwich looked to be one of the top sandwiches, so I tried it and added bacon and avocado. Wow, it was HUGE and looked beautiful! The thick-cut bacon was piled on, along with cheddar cheese; the brioche bun was soft and flavorful, the fried egg was perfect and the avocado was soft and plentiful. The sandwich is delicious and certainly not your standard fried egg! (I could only eat 1/3 because it was so big.) I read that the cookies were also fab, so I ordered a peanut butter, then asked the checkout gal what other cookies were great to take home and she suggested chocolate chip and pecan shortbread. There is plenty to look at while you wait for your food to be prepared, like holiday gifts, Voluspa candles, decorative cocktail napkins, books, etc. There is also a small market inside that serves deli items. I took the food to go and heated the sandwich at home. I also tried a bite of each cookie (for science reasons, of course). The peanut butter was my favorite, with the chocolate chip and shortbread close behind in second and third place. I cannot wait to return soon! Classic Newport!
I was never crazy about A+ marker for reasons unknown, but I've been on a weekly tear at this place. Maybe the food has gotten better but A market is just incredible as of late. One of the best tuna melt's in OC, delicious iced coffee with honey, incredible cakes and breads, generally friendly staff depending on the day (lol) but overall, a solid spot for lunch, snacks, coffee, you name it. Don't miss it.
The food is amazing whether you take something to go or get something there everything is fabulous. They actually make the food there. It looks terrific and it taste terrific if you don't know what to get please ask somebody at the counter. The service is wonderful. They are super friendly. I'm so nice, I had questions and they couldn't be nicer and went out of their way to help me. It is super quaint seating inside or it's nice. You can sit outside. I highly recommend it. I just happen to find it when I was driving along on PCH and saw it on the other side of the street and I remembered on my way back to stop in. I've been several times and I always want to stop on my way back home, there isn't a day that I don't think about whether from deli they have breakfast and lunch. They are closed on Mondays so remember that
This place is absolutely amazing!! When we were volunteering with Locale magazine today for the various fires that are going on in California right now, they donated lunch to all of us! I got the veggie sandwich and my husband got the turkey sandwich. I absolutely loved mine and my husband said that he enjoyed it and that it was very good with the honey mustard. The boxes were literally packed with everything one may need, including the napkin! The boxes had a sandwich, a pasta salad (very yummy), fruit, and cookie!! Y'all are definitely so sweet!! I would definitely come here!
